Depression with Body Image

My painting represents what is happening in the broadening world, depression with body image. In my painting, it shows a girl looking into the mirror, however her mind is dominated by the magazines she buys to compare herself to. When she sees herself, she feels the need to change how she looks, into the people on the magazines with the perfect body.
